Ram’s Return on Pushpak

मुनि जेहि ध्यान न पावहिं नेति नेति कह बेद।
कृपासिंधु सोइ कपिन्ह सन करत अनेक बिनोद॥117 क॥

भावार्थ:
जिनको मुनि ध्यान में भी नहीं पाते, जिन्हें वेद नेति-नेति कहते हैं, वे ही कृपा के समुद्र श्री रामजी वानरों के साथ अनेकों प्रकार के विनोद कर रहे हैं॥117 क॥

English Translation:
The ocean of compassion, who is difficult to grasp even in meditation by the most enlightened saints who describe Him as infinite and immeasurable, was enjoying humour and fun with the monkeys.

उमा जोग जप दान तप नाना मख ब्रत नेम।
राम कृपा नहिं करहिं तसि जसि निष्केवल प्रेम॥117 ख॥

भावार्थ:
(शिवजी कहते हैं-) हे उमा! अनेकों प्रकार के योग, जप, दान, तप, यज्ञ, व्रत और नियम करने पर भी श्री रामचंद्रजी वैसी कृपा नहीं करते जैसी अनन्य प्रेम होने पर करते हैं॥117 ख॥

English Translation:
Lord Shiv tells Parvati ji, “Innumerable acts like yoga, chanting, charity, penance, holy sacrifice, fasting, and various types of religious observances fail to invoke Lord Ram’s grace to the same degree as His unalloyed devotion does.”

भालु कपिन्ह पट भूषन पाए। पहिरि पहिरि रघुपति पहिं आए॥
नाना जिनस देखि सब कीसा। पुनि पुनि हँसत कोसलाधीसा॥1॥

भावार्थ:
भालुओं और वानरों ने कपड़े-गहने पाए और उन्हें पहन-पहनकर वे श्री रघुनाथजी के पास आए। अनेकों जातियों के वानरों को देखकर कोसलपति श्री रामजी बार-बार हँस रहे हैं॥1॥

English Translation:
After receiving the clothes and ornaments, the bears and monkeys adorned themselves and came to Lord Raghupati. Seeing so many different species of monkeys, the Lord of Koshal laughed repeatedly.

चितइ सबन्हि पर कीन्ही दाया। बोले मृदुल बचन रघुराया॥
तुम्हरें बल मैं रावनु मार्‌यो। तिलक बिभीषन कहँ पुनि सार्‌यो॥2॥

भावार्थ:
श्री रघुनाथजी ने कृपा दृष्टि से देखकर सब पर दया की। फिर वे कोमल वचन बोले- हे भाइयो! तुम्हारे ही बल से मैंने रावण को मारा और फिर विभीषण का राजतिलक किया॥2॥

English Translation:
The Chief of Raghus, Shri Ram, showered His gracious glance on all of them and spoke gentle words, “I was able to kill Ravan because of your might and then crown Vibhishan as the King of Lanka.”

निज निज गृह अब तुम्ह सब जाहू। सुमिरेहु मोहि डरपहु जनि काहू॥
सुनत बचन प्रेमाकुल बानर। जोरि पानि बोले सब सादर॥3॥

भावार्थ:
अब तुम सब अपने-अपने घर जाओ। मेरा स्मरण करते रहना और किसी से डरना नहीं। ये वचन सुनते ही सब वानर प्रेम में विह्वल होकर हाथ जोड़कर आदरपूर्वक बोले-॥3॥

English Translation:
…Now, all of you return to your homes, meditate upon me, and fear no one.” Hearing Lord Ram’s words, the monkeys, overflowing with love, reverently replied with joined palms.

प्रभु जोइ कहहु तुम्हहि सब सोहा। हमरें होत बचन सुनि मोहा॥
दीन जानि कपि किए सनाथा। तुम्ह त्रैलोक ईस रघुनाथा॥4॥

भावार्थ:
प्रभो! आप जो कुछ भी कहें, आपको सब सोहता है। पर आपके वचन सुनकर हमको मोह होता है। हे रघुनाथजी! आप तीनों लोकों के ईश्वर हैं। हम वानरों को दीन जानकर ही आपने सनाथ (कृतार्थ) किया है॥4॥

English Translation:
…”Lord, anything You say is beautiful in every way. But hearing Your words, we feel infatuated. O’ Raghunath, You are the Lord of the three spheres of the cosmos, and knowing us as pitiable, You took us monkeys under Your protection.”

सुनि प्रभु बचन लाज हम मरहीं। मसक कहूँ खगपति हित करहीं॥
देखि राम रुख बानर रीछा। प्रेम मगन नहिं गृह कै ईछा॥5॥

भावार्थ:
प्रभु के (ऐसे) वचन सुनकर हम लाज के मारे मरे जा रहे हैं। कहीं मच्छर भी गरुड़ का हित कर सकते हैं? श्री रामजी का रुख देखकर रीछ-वानर प्रेम में मग्न हो गए। उनकी घर जाने की इच्छा नहीं है॥5॥

English Translation:
…”Hearing Your words, Lord, we are feeling overly embarrassed. Can a swarm of mosquitoes help Garud ji, the King of Birds?” Seeing Lord Ram’s disposition, the monkeys and bears were lost in love and had no desire to return to their homes.

प्रभु प्रेरित कपि भालु सब राम रूप उर राखि।
हरष बिषाद सहित चले बिनय बिबिध बिधि भाषि॥118 क॥

भावार्थ:
परन्तु प्रभु की प्रेरणा (आज्ञा) से सब वानर-भालू श्री रामजी के रूप को हृदय में रखकर और अनेकों प्रकार से विनती करके हर्ष और विषाद सहित घर को चले॥118 क॥

English Translation:
Inspired by the Lord, all the monkeys and bears enshrined His divine image in their hearts and departed, filled with a blend of joy and sorrow after offering their humble supplications to Shri Ram in various ways.

कपिपति नील रीछपति अंगद नल हनुमान।
सहित बिभीषन अपर जे जूथप कपि बलवान॥118 ख॥

भावार्थ:
वानरराज सुग्रीव, नील, ऋक्षराज जाम्बवान्‌, अंगद, नल और हनुमान्‌ तथा विभीषण सहित और जो बलवान्‌ वानर सेनापति हैं,॥118 ख॥

English Translation:
The King of Monkeys, Sugriv, Neel, the King of Bears, Jambvant, Angad, Hanuman ji, and some other brave monkey commanders, along with Vibhishan,…

कहि न सकहिं कछु प्रेम बस भरि भरि लोचन बारि॥
सन्मुख चितवहिं राम तन नयन निमेष निवारि॥118 ग॥

भावार्थ:
वे कुछ कह नहीं सकते, प्रेमवश नेत्रों में जल भर-भरकर, नेत्रों का पलक मारना छोड़कर (टकटकी लगाए) सम्मुख होकर श्री रामजी की ओर देख रहे हैं॥118 ग॥

English Translation:
…were too overcome with emotion to speak. With eyes brimming with tears of love, they gazed upon Lord Ram’s form, unable to blink.

अतिसय प्रीति देखि रघुराई। लीन्हे सकल बिमान चढ़ाई॥
मन महुँ बिप्र चरन सिरु नायो। उत्तर दिसिहि बिमान चलायो॥1॥

भावार्थ:
श्री रघुनाथजी ने उनका अतिशय प्रेम देखकर सबको विमान पर चढ़ा लिया। तदनन्तर मन ही मन विप्रचरणों में सिर नवाकर उत्तर दिशा की ओर विमान चलाया॥1॥

English Translation:
Perceiving their overwhelming love, Shri Ram, the Chief of the Raghus, took them all aboard the Pushpak plane, along with Sita ji and Lakshman ji. With deep reverence, Lord Ram bowed at the feet of the Brahmins in His heart and then directed the plane to fly northward.

चलत बिमान कोलाहल होई। जय रघुबीर कहइ सबु कोई॥
सिंहासन अति उच्च मनोहर। श्री समेत प्रभु बैठे ता पर॥2॥

भावार्थ:
विमान के चलते समय बड़ा शोर हो रहा है। सब कोई श्री रघुवीर की जय कह रहे हैं। विमान में एक अत्यंत ऊँचा मनोहर सिंहासन है। उस पर सीताजी सहित प्रभु श्री रामचंद्रजी विराजमान हो गए॥2॥

English Translation:
When the plane took off, a loud uproar filled the air as everyone shouted with excitement, “Glory to Shri Raghuveer!” The plane featured a very charming and elevated throne, upon which Lord Ram took His seat alongside Sita ji.

राजत रामु सहित भामिनी। मेरु सृंग जनु घन दामिनी॥
रुचिर बिमानु चलेउ अति आतुर। कीन्ही सुमन बृष्टि हरषे सुर॥3॥

भावार्थ:
पत्नी सहित श्री रामजी ऐसे सुशोभित हो रहे हैं मानो सुमेरु के शिखर पर बिजली सहित श्याम मेघ हो। सुंदर विमान बड़ी शीघ्रता से चला। देवता हर्षित हुए और उन्होंने फूलों की वर्षा की॥3॥

English Translation:
Lord Ram shone forth with His wife like a rain-filled cloud with lightning atop the peak of Mount Meru. The charming plane flew swiftly, and the Demigods joyfully showered flowers upon it.

परम सुखद चलि त्रिबिध बयारी। सागर सर सरि निर्मल बारी॥
सगुन होहिं सुंदर चहुँ पासा। मन प्रसन्न निर्मल नभ आसा॥4॥

भावार्थ:
अत्यंत सुख देने वाली तीन प्रकार की (शीतल, मंद, सुगंधित) वायु चलने लगी। समुद्र, तालाब और नदियों का जल निर्मल हो गया। चारों ओर सुंदर शकुन होने लगे। सबके मन प्रसन्न हैं, आकाश और दिशाएँ निर्मल हैं॥4॥

English Translation:
A most delightful blend of three types of cool, calm, and fragrant breezes began to blow. The waters of the ocean, lakes, and rivers turned crystal clear, and auspicious omens appeared everywhere. Everyone’s hearts were filled with joy, and the sky, along with all the directions, turned serene and bright.

कह रघुबीर देखु रन सीता। लछिमन इहाँ हत्यो इँद्रजीता॥
हनूमान अंगद के मारे। रन महि परे निसाचर भारे॥5॥

भावार्थ:
श्री रघुवीरजी ने कहा- हे सीते! रणभूमि देखो। लक्ष्मण ने यहाँ इंद्र को जीतने वाले मेघनाद को मारा था। हनुमान्‌ और अंगद के मारे हुए ये भारी-भारी निशाचर रणभूमि में पड़े हैं॥5॥

English Translation:
As the plane soared through the air, Lord Raghuveer began to point out various significant spots to Sita ji. He said, “Sita, look at the battleground below. It was on this spot that Lakshman killed Meghnad. And see over there, the mighty demon warriors lying dead after being slain by Hanuman and Angad…”

कुंभकरन रावन द्वौ भाई। इहाँ हते सुर मुनि दुखदाई॥6॥

भावार्थ:
देवताओं और मुनियों को दुःख देने वाले कुंभकर्ण और रावण दोनों भाई यहाँ मारे गए॥6॥

English Translation:
…The tormentors of the Demigods and Sages, the two brothers, Kumbhkaran and Ravan, were slain on this very spot…

इहाँ सेतु बाँध्यों अरु थापेउँ सिव सुख धाम।
सीता सहित कृपानिधि संभुहि कीन्ह प्रनाम॥119 क॥

भावार्थ:
मैंने यहाँ पुल बाँधा (बँधवाया) और सुखधाम श्री शिवजी की स्थापना की। तदनन्तर कृपानिधान श्री रामजी ने सीताजी सहित श्री रामेश्वर महादेव को प्रणाम किया॥119 क॥

English Translation:
…It was here that I had a bridge constructed and installed the Rameshwar Shivling of the blissful Lord Shiv.” With these words, the ocean of mercy, Shri Ram, along with Sita ji, bowed in reverence to Lord Shambhu.

जहँ जहँ कृपासिंधु बन कीन्ह बास बिश्राम।
सकल देखाए जानकिहि कहे सबन्हि के नाम॥119 ख॥

भावार्थ:
वन में जहाँ-तहाँ करुणा सागर श्री रामचंद्रजी ने निवास और विश्राम किया था, वे सब स्थान प्रभु ने जानकीजी को दिखलाए और सबके नाम बतलाए॥119 ख॥

English Translation:
Shri Ram, the ocean of mercy, pointed out to Sita ji all the places in the forest where He had once stayed or rested, sharing the names of each location as they passed.

तुरत बिमान तहाँ चलि आवा। दंडक बन जहँ परम सुहावा॥
कुंभजादि मुनिनायक नाना। गए रामु सब कें अस्थाना॥1॥

भावार्थ:
विमान शीघ्र ही वहाँ चला आया, जहाँ परम सुंदर दण्डकवन था और अगस्त्य आदि बहुत से मुनिराज रहते थे। श्री रामजी इन सबके स्थानों में गए॥1॥

English Translation:
Soon, the Pushpak plane swiftly reached the serene and enchanting Dandak forest, home to the Chief of Sages, Agastya ji, and many other sages. Shri Ram then visited the abodes of all the sages.

सकल रिषिन्ह सन पाइ असीसा। चित्रकूट आए जगदीसा॥
तहँ करि मुनिन्ह केर संतोषा। चला बिमानु तहाँ ते चोखा॥2॥

भावार्थ:
संपूर्ण ऋषियों से आशीर्वाद पाकर जगदीश्वर श्री रामजी चित्रकूट आए। वहाँ मुनियों को संतुष्ट किया। (फिर) विमान वहाँ से आगे तेजी के साथ चला॥2॥

English Translation:
After receiving blessings from all the sages, the Lord of the Universe arrived at Chitrakoot. There, after reverently satisfying the sages, the plane once again sallied forward at full speed.

बहुरि राम जानकिहि देखाई। जमुना कलि मल हरनि सुहाई॥
पुनि देखी सुरसरी पुनीता। राम कहा प्रनाम करु सीता॥3॥

भावार्थ:
फिर श्री रामजी ने जानकीजी को कलियुग के पापों का हरण करने वाली सुहावनी यमुनाजी के दर्शन कराए। फिर पवित्र गंगाजी के दर्शन किए। श्री रामजी ने कहा- हे सीते! इन्हें प्रणाम करो॥3॥

English Translation:
Lord Ram then showed Janaki ji the beautiful Yamuna River, which cleanses all sins of Kaliyug era. Then Shri Ram pointed out the sacred celestial River Ganga. The Lord asked Sita ji to offer Her obeisance to the holy rivers.

तीरथपति पुनि देखु प्रयागा। निरखत जन्म कोटि अघ भागा॥
देखु परम पावनि पुनि बेनी। हरनि सोक हरि लोक निसेनी॥4॥
पुनि देखु अवधपुरि अति पावनि। त्रिबिध ताप भव रोग नसावनि॥5॥

भावार्थ:
फिर तीर्थराज प्रयाग को देखो, जिसके दर्शन से ही करोड़ों जन्मों के पाप भाग जाते हैं। फिर परम पवित्र त्रिवेणीजी के दर्शन करो, जो शोकों को हरने वाली और श्री हरि के परम धाम (पहुँचने) के लिए सीढ़ी के समान है। फिर अत्यंत पवित्र अयोध्यापुरी के दर्शन करो, जो तीनों प्रकार के तापों और भव (आवागमन रूपी) रोग का नाश करने वाली है॥4-5॥

English Translation:
Shri Ram said, “Now behold Prayagraj, the King of all sacred places, whose mere sight cleanses the sins of countless lifetimes. Next, look at the holiest Triveni, the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers, which dispels pain and serves as a ladder to the abode of Lord Hari. Finally, see the most sacred city of Ayodhya, which removes the three types of sorrows and ends the cycle of repeated births and deaths.”

सीता सहित अवध कहुँ कीन्ह कृपाल प्रनाम।
सजल नयन तन पुलकित पुनि पुनि हरषित राम॥120 क॥

भावार्थ:
यों कहकर कृपालु श्री रामजी ने सीताजी सहित अवधपुरी को प्रणाम किया। सजल नेत्र और पुलकित शरीर होकर श्री रामजी बार-बार हर्षित हो रहे हैं॥120 क॥

English Translation:
The compassionate Shri Ram, with Sita ji by His side, paid obeisance to the city of Ayodhya. His eyes were filled with tears, His body thrilled with emotion, and He felt a profound delight over and over again.

पुनि प्रभु आइ त्रिबेनीं हरषित मज्जनु कीन्ह।
कपिन्ह सहित बिप्रन्ह कहुँ दान बिबिध बिधि दीन्ह॥120 ख॥

भावार्थ:
फिर त्रिवेणी में आकर प्रभु ने हर्षित होकर स्नान किया और वानरों सहित ब्राह्मणों को अनेकों प्रकार के दान दिए॥120 ख॥

English Translation:
Then, the Lord joyfully arrived at the Triveni and bathed in the confluence of the three holy rivers. Along with the monkeys, Shri Ram bestowed many types of gifts upon the Brahmins who were present there.

प्रभु हनुमंतहि कहा बुझाई। धरि बटु रूप अवधपुर जाई॥
भरतहि कुसल हमारि सुनाएहु। समाचार लै तुम्ह चलि आएहु॥1॥

भावार्थ:
तदनन्तर प्रभु ने हनुमान्‌जी को समझाकर कहा- तुम ब्रह्मचारी का रूप धरकर अवधपुरी को जाओ। भरत को हमारी कुशल सुनाना और उनका समाचार लेकर चले आना॥1॥

English Translation:
Lord Ram then instructed Hanuman ji, “Go to Ayodhya city, disguised as a young Brahmin student. Inform Bharat of our well-being and return with news about him.”

तुरत पवनसुत गवनत भयऊ। तब प्रभु भरद्वाज पहिं गयऊ॥
नाना बिधि मुनि पूजा कीन्ही। अस्तुति करि पुनि आसिष दीन्ही॥2॥

भावार्थ:
पवनपुत्र हनुमान्‌जी तुरंत ही चल दिए। तब प्रभु भरद्वाजजी के पास गए। मुनि ने (इष्ट बुद्धि से) उनकी अनेकों प्रकार से पूजा की और स्तुति की और फिर (लीला की दृष्टि से) आशीर्वाद दिया॥2॥

English Translation:
Hanuman ji quickly departed for Ayodhya, and the Lord then visited Sage Bhardwaj. The Sage worshipped the Lord in many ways, and after completing his prayers, he once again bestowed his blessings upon Shri Ram.

मुनि पद बंदि जुगल कर जोरी। चढ़ि बिमान प्रभु चले बहोरी॥
इहाँ निषाद सुना प्रभु आए। नाव नाव कहँ लोग बोलाए॥3॥

भावार्थ:
दोनों हाथ जोड़कर तथा मुनि के चरणों की वंदना करके प्रभु विमान पर चढ़कर फिर (आगे) चले। यहाँ जब निषादराज ने सुना कि प्रभु आ गए, तब उसने ‘नाव कहाँ है? नाव कहाँ है?’ पुकारते हुए लोगों को बुलाया॥3॥

English Translation:
After worshipping the Sage’s feet and paying obeisance with joined palms, Shri Ram mounted the Pushpak plane and continued His journey. Meanwhile, Guh, the Chief of the Nishads, heard of Lord Ram’s arrival. Overcome with excitement, he shouted to his people, “Where is the boat? Bring the boat!”

सुरसरि नाघि जान तब आयो। उतरेउ तट प्रभु आयसु पायो॥
तब सीताँ पूजी सुरसरी। बहु प्रकार पुनि चरनन्हि परी॥4॥

भावार्थ:
इतने में ही विमान गंगाजी को लाँघकर (इस पार) आ गया और प्रभु की आज्ञा पाकर वह किनारे पर उतरा। तब सीताजी बहुत प्रकार से गंगाजी की पूजा करके फिर उनके चरणों पर गिरीं॥4॥

English Translation:
Meanwhile, following the Lord’s command, the plane crossed over the celestial river Ganga and landed on the opposite bank. There, Sita ji worshipped River Ganga in many ways and then humbly bowed at the feet of Goddess Ganga.

दीन्हि असीस हरषि मन गंगा। सुंदरि तव अहिवात अभंगा॥
सुनत गुहा धायउ प्रेमाकुल। आयउ निकट परम सुख संकुल॥5॥

भावार्थ:
गंगाजी ने मन में हर्षित होकर आशीर्वाद दिया- हे सुंदरी! तुम्हारा सुहाग अखंड हो। भगवान्‌ के तट पर उतरने की बात सुनते ही निषादराज गुह प्रेम में विह्वल होकर दौड़ा। परम सुख से परिपूर्ण होकर वह प्रभु के समीप आया,॥5॥

English Translation:
Goddess Ganga rejoiced in her heart and bestowed her blessing upon Sita ji, saying, “O’ Beautiful lady, may Your marriage remain eternally blessed.” Upon hearing that the Lord’s plane had landed, overwhelmed with love, Guh approached His master, filled with ecstatic joy.

प्रभुहि सहित बिलोकि बैदेही। परेउ अवनि तन सुधि नहिं तेही॥
प्रीति परम बिलोकि रघुराई। हरषि उठाइ लियो उर लाई॥6॥

भावार्थ:
और श्री जानकीजी सहित प्रभु को देखकर वह (आनंद-समाधि में मग्न होकर) पृथ्वी पर गिर पड़ा, उसे शरीर की सुधि न रही। श्री रघुनाथजी ने उसका परम प्रेम देखकर उसे उठाकर हर्ष के साथ हृदय से लगा लिया॥6॥

English Translation:
Seeing Shri Ram accompanied by Sita ji, Guh prostrated before the Lord, losing all sense of his body. Overjoyed by his profound love, Shri Ram lifted him up and embraced him warmly.

लियो हृदयँ लाइ कृपा निधान सुजान रायँ रमापति।
बैठारि परम समीप बूझी कुसल सो कर बीनती॥
अब कुसल पद पंकज बिलोकि बिरंचि संकर सेब्य जे।
सुख धाम पूरनकाम राम नमामि राम नमामि ते॥1॥

भावार्थ:
सुजानों के राजा (शिरोमणि), लक्ष्मीकांत, कृपानिधान भगवान्‌ ने उसको हृदय से लगा लिया और अत्यंत निकट बैठकर कुशल पूछी। वह विनती करने लगा- आपके जो चरणकमल ब्रह्माजी और शंकरजी से सेवित हैं, उनके दर्शन करके मैं अब सकुशल हूँ। हे सुखधाम! हे पूर्णकाम श्री रामजी! मैं आपको नमस्कार करता हूँ, नमस्कार करता हूँ॥1॥

English Translation:
The all-merciful Shri Ram, the wisest of the wise, the Beloved of Goddess Rama (Lakshmi ji), embraced Guh close to His chest. He then offered him a seat beside Himself and inquired about his well-being. Guh responded, “Now that I have seen Your lotus feet, which are revered by Lord Brahma and Lord Shiv, all is well. O’ Abode of bliss, You who fulfil all desires, I bow to You, Shri Ram. I bow to You, Shri Ram!”

सब भाँति अधम निषाद सो हरि भरत ज्यों उर लाइयो।
मतिमंद तुलसीदास सो प्रभु मोह बस बिसराइयो॥
यह रावनारि चरित्र पावन राम पद रतिप्रद सदा।
कामादिहर बिग्यानकर सुर सिद्ध मुनि गावहिं मुदा॥2॥

भावार्थ:
सब प्रकार से नीच उस निषाद को भगवान्‌ ने भरतजी की भाँति हृदय से लगा लिया। तुलसीदासजी कहते हैं- इस मंदबुद्धि ने (मैंने) मोहवश उस प्रभु को भुला दिया। रावण के शत्रु का यह पवित्र करने वाला चरित्र सदा ही श्री रामजी के चरणों में प्रीति उत्पन्न करने वाला है। यह कामादि विकारों को हरने वाला और (भगवान्‌ के स्वरूप का) विशेष ज्ञान उत्पन्न करने वाला है। देवता, सिद्ध और मुनि आनंदित होकर इसे गाते हैं॥2॥

English Translation:
The Chief of the Nishads, who was considered lowly in every respect, was embraced by Lord Hari as if he were His own brother, Shri Bharat. Tulsidas ji says, “On the other hand, I, the dull-witted one, have forgotten the Lord in every way due to my attachments.” The virtuous deeds of Shri Ram, the foe of Ravan, inspire eternal love and devotion at His feet. His exploits dispel worldly desires and other vices, impart spiritual wisdom, and are joyfully sung by Demigods, realized saints, and sages.

समर बिजय रघुबीर के चरित जे सुनहिं सुजान।
बिजय बिबेक बिभूति नित तिन्हहि देहिं भगवान॥121 क॥

भावार्थ:
जो सुजान लोग श्री रघुवीर की समर विजय संबंधी लीला को सुनते हैं, उनको भगवान्‌ नित्य विजय, विवेक और विभूति (ऐश्वर्य) देते हैं॥121 क॥

English Translation:
All the wise individuals who listen to the stories of Shri Ram’s victories in battle will be blessed by the Lord with everlasting success, wisdom, and renown.

यह कलिकाल मलायतन मन करि देखु बिचार।
श्री रघुनाथ नाम तजि नाहिन आन अधार॥121 ख॥

भावार्थ:
अरे मन! विचार करके देख! यह कलिकाल पापों का घर है। इसमें श्री रघुनाथजी के नाम को छोड़कर (पापों से बचने के लिए) दूसरा कोई आधार नहीं है॥121 ख॥

English Translation:
O’ Heart, this age of Kali is filled with sinful impurities. Therefore, reflect deeply and see for yourself that there is nothing to rely on in this age except the name of Shri Raghunath.

इति श्रीमद्रामचरितमानसे सकलकलिकलुषविध्वंसने षष्ठः सोपानः समाप्तः।

भावार्थ:
कलियुग के समस्त पापों का नाश करने वाले श्री रामचरित मानस का यह छठा सोपान समाप्त हुआ।

English Translation:
So concludes the sixth chapter (Lanka Kaand) of Shri Ramcharitmanas, which dispels all the sins of Kaliyug.
