• प्रनवउँ परिजन सहित बिदेहू। जाहि राम पद गूढ़ सनेहू॥   जोग भोग महँ राखेउ गोई। राम बिलोकत प्रगटेउ सोई॥1॥  

भावार्थ:
मैं परिवार सहित राजा जनकजी को प्रणाम करता हूँ, जिनका श्री रामजी के चरणों में गूढ़ प्रेम था, जिसे उन्होंने योग और भोग में छिपा रखा था, परन्तु श्री राम को देखते ही वह प्रकट हो गया। 

English Translation:   I bow to King Janak along with his family, who harbored deep love for Lord Ram's feet. Though concealed in yoga and royal duties, this love manifested instantly upon beholding Lord Ram.

• प्रनवउँ प्रथम भरत के चरना। जासु नेम ब्रत जाइ न बरना॥   राम चरन पंकज मन जासू। लुबुध मधुप इव तजइ न पासू॥2॥  

भावार्थ:
सबसे पहले मैं श्री भरतजी के चरणों में प्रणाम करता हूँ, जिनका नियम और व्रत वर्णन नहीं किया जा सकता, और जिनका मन श्रीरामजी के चरणकमलों में भौंरे की तरह सदा रमता है।*  

English Translation:   I first bow to the feet of Bharat ji, whose vows are beyond description, and whose heart is ever drawn to Lord Ram’s lotus feet, like a bee that never leaves the flower.*

• बंदउँ लछिमन पद जल जाता। सीतल सुभग भगत सुख दाता॥   रघुपति कीरति बिमल पताका। दंड समान भयउ जस जाका॥3॥  

भावार्थ:
मैं श्री लक्ष्मणजी के चरणों में प्रणाम करता हूँ, जो शीतल, सुंदर और भक्तों को सुख देने वाले हैं, जिनकी कीर्ति रघुनाथजी के यश रूपी पताका के दंड के समान है।*

English Translation:
I bow at the feet of Lakshman ji, soothing, beautiful, and bringer of joy to devotees. His glory stands firm like the staff holding the spotless banner of Lord Ram's fame.*

• सेष सहस्रसीस जग कारन। जो अवतरेउ भूमि भय टारन॥
  सदा सो सानुकूल रह मो पर। कृपासिन्धु सौमित्रि गुनाकर॥4॥

भावार्थ: शेषजी जो सहस्र सिरों से जग को धारण करते हैं और जो पृथ्वी के भय को दूर करने के लिए अवतरित हुए, वे सौमित्रि लक्ष्मणजी सदा मुझ पर कृपा बनाए रखें।*

English Translation:
He who is Sheshnag with a thousand heads sustaining the world, and who descended to dispel fear from Earth—may that Soumitri Lakshman, ocean of grace, forever bless me.*

• रिपुसूदन पद कमल नमामी। सूर सुसील भरत अनुगामी॥
  महाबीर बिनवउँ हनुमाना। राम जासु जस आप बखाना॥5॥

भावार्थ: मैं शत्रुघ्नजी के चरणों को प्रणाम करता हूँ, जो वीर, विनम्र और भरतजी के अनुसरण में हैं। मैं श्री हनुमानजी को नमस्कार करता हूँ, जिनके यश का स्वयं श्री राम ने वर्णन किया है।*

English Translation:
I bow to the lotus feet of Shatrughna, brave, virtuous, and follower of Bharat. I pay homage to Hanuman, the mighty one, whose glory was sung by Lord Ram Himself.*

• प्रनवउँ पवनकुमार खल बन पावक ग्यान घन।
  जासु हृदय आगार बसहिं राम सर चाप धर॥17॥

भावार्थ: मैं पवनपुत्र श्री हनुमान को प्रणाम करता हूँ, जो दुष्टों रूपी वन के लिए अग्निरूप हैं, ज्ञान के सागर हैं और जिनके हृदय में धनुष-बाणधारी श्रीराम निवास करते हैं।*

English Translation:
I bow to Hanuman, son of the wind, fire to the forest of evil, and embodiment of wisdom, whose heart is the abode of Lord Ram armed with bow and arrows.*

• कपिपति रीछ निसाचर राजा।
  अंगदादि जे कीस समाजा॥
  बंदउँ सब के चरन सुहाए।
  अधम सरीर राम जिन्ह पाए॥1॥

भावार्थ:
वानरों के राजा सुग्रीव, रीछों के राजा जाम्बवान, राक्षसों के राजा विभीषण और अंगद आदि जितने वानर हैं—उन सबके सुंदर चरणों की मैं वंदना करता हूँ, जिन्होंने अधम शरीर में भी श्रीराम को प्राप्त कर लिया।

English Translation:
I bow to the beautiful feet of the Monkey King Sugriv, the noble Chief of the Bears Jambvant, the righteous Demon King Vibhishan, and the Monkey Prince Angad. I also bow to the countless groups of monkeys and bears in their army, who, despite being born in lower species, attained Lord Ram through pure devotion.

• रघुपति चरन उपासक जेते।
  खग मृग सुर नर असुर समेते॥
  बंदउँ पद सरोज सब केरे।
  जे बिनु काम राम के चेरे॥2॥

भावार्थ:
पशु, पक्षी, देवता, मनुष्य और असुर आदि जितने श्रीराम के भक्त हैं, जो बिना किसी स्वार्थ के उनकी सेवा करते हैं—मैं उन सबके चरण कमलों की वंदना करता हूँ।

English Translation:
I bow to the lotus feet of all beings—animals, birds, gods, humans, and demons—who are selfless devotees of Lord Ram. Free from worldly desires, they serve Him with pure love and unwavering devotion.

• सुक सनकादि भगत मुनि नारद।
  जे मुनिबर बिग्यान बिसारद॥
  प्रनवउँ सबहि धरनि धरि सीसा।
  करहु कृपा जन जानि मुनीसा॥3॥

भावार्थ:
शुकदेव, सनकादि, नारद आदि जितने भक्त और ज्ञानी मुनि हैं, मैं सिर झुकाकर उन सबको प्रणाम करता हूँ। हे मुनिश्रेष्ठों! मुझे अपना दास समझकर कृपा करें।

English Translation:
With my head bowed, I offer respect to the sages and saints like Sukdev, Sanak, and Narad, who are immersed in divine knowledge and devotion. O revered seers, please bless me, considering me your humble servant.

• जनकसुता जग जननि जानकी।
  अतिसय प्रिय करुनानिधान की॥
  ताके जुग पद कमल मनावउँ।
  जासु कृपाँ निरमल मति पावउँ॥4॥

भावार्थ:
जनकजी की पुत्री, जगत जननी जानकी, जो करुणा के सागर श्रीराम को अत्यंत प्रिय हैं—उनके दोनों चरण कमलों को मैं पूजता हूँ, जिनकी कृपा से निर्मल बुद्धि प्राप्त होती है।

English Translation:
I worship the twin lotus feet of Mata Janaki, daughter of King Janak, the Mother of the Universe and the beloved of Lord Ram, the ocean of mercy. By Her grace, may I attain pure and unwavering intellect.

• पुनि मन बचन कर्म रघुनायक।
  चरन कमल बंदउँ सब लायक॥
  राजीवनयन धरें धनु सायक।
  भगत बिपति भंजन सुखदायक॥5॥

भावार्थ:
अब मैं मन, वचन और कर्म से श्री रघुनाथ के उन चरण कमलों की वंदना करता हूँ, जो सर्व समर्थ हैं, कमल जैसे नेत्रों वाले, धनुष-बाणधारी, भक्तों के दुःखों का नाश करने वाले और उन्हें सुख देने वाले हैं।

English Translation:
With my thoughts, words, and actions, I bow to the all-powerful lotus feet of Lord Ram, the King of the Raghu dynasty. His eyes are lotus-like, He holds a bow and arrow, and He dispels the sorrows of devotees, bestowing them divine bliss.

• गिरा अरथ जल बीचि सम कहिअत भिन्न न भिन्न।
  बंदउँ सीता राम पद जिन्हहि परम प्रिय खिन्न॥18॥

भावार्थ:
वाणी और उसका अर्थ, जल और उसकी लहर की तरह—बोलने में अलग प्रतीत होते हैं, पर वास्तव में एक ही होते हैं। ऐसे श्री सीतारामजी के चरणों की वंदना करता हूँ, जो दीनों को बहुत प्रिय हैं।

English Translation:
Words and their meanings, like water and its waves, may appear separate, yet they are inseparable. So too are Lord Ram and Goddess Sita. I bow to their lotus feet, beloved by the sorrowful and the humble.

• बंदउँ नाम राम रघुबर को।
  हेतु कृसानु भानु हिमकर को॥
  बिधि हरि हरमय बेद प्रान सो।
  अगुन अनूपम गुन निधान सो॥1॥

भावार्थ:
मैं रघुवंशियों के श्रेष्ठ श्रीराम के नाम की वंदना करता हूँ, जो ‘र’, ‘आ’, ‘म’ रूप से अग्नि, सूर्य और चंद्रमा का मूल है। वह नाम ब्रह्मा, विष्णु, महेश का स्वरूप है, वेदों का प्राण है, निर्गुण, अनुपम और गुणों का भंडार है।

English Translation:
I worship the sacred name “Ram,” the jewel of the Raghu dynasty. Each syllable—Ra, Aa, Ma—is the source of Fire, Sun, and Moon. The name embodies the divine trinity: Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiv. It is the very breath of the Vedas—formless, peerless, and the treasure of all virtues.

• महामंत्र जोइ जपत महेसू।
  कासीं मुकुति हेतु उपदेसू॥
  महिमा जासु जान गनराऊ।
  प्रथम पूजिअत नाम प्रभाऊ॥2॥

भावार्थ:
वह नाम महामंत्र है, जिसे भगवान शिव स्वयं जपते हैं, और जो काशी में मुक्ति का साधन है। इस नाम की महिमा को गणेशजी जानते हैं, और उसी नाम के प्रभाव से वे पहले पूजे जाते हैं।

English Translation:
The Name “Ram” is the supreme mantra, chanted by Lord Shiv Himself. In the holy city of Kashi, it is the path to salvation. Lord Ganesh, knowing its divine power, earned the honor of being worshipped first through its grace.

• जान आदिकबि नाम प्रतापू।
  भयउ सुद्ध करि उलटा जापू॥
  सहस नाम सम सुनि सिव बानी।
  जपि जेईं पिय संग भवानी॥3॥

भावार्थ:
आदि कवि वाल्मीकि राम नाम के प्रभाव को जानते हैं, जिन्होंने ‘मरा मरा’ कहकर जप करते हुए स्वयं को पवित्र कर लिया। शिवजी के वचन के अनुसार, एक राम नाम हजार नामों के समान है, इस बात को सुनकर पार्वतीजी शिवजी के साथ उसका जप करती हैं।

English Translation:
Sage Valmiki, the first poet, realized the power of Ram’s name through reverse chanting—“Mara Mara”—which still purified him. Lord Shiv declared that a single utterance of “Ram” equals a thousand divine names. Hearing this, Goddess Parvati joyfully chants alongside her Lord.

• हरषे हेतु हेरि हर ही को।
  किय भूषन तिय भूषन ती को॥
  नाम प्रभाउ जान सिव नीको।
  कालकूट फलु दीन्ह अमी को॥4॥

भावार्थ:
रामनाम के प्रति पार्वतीजी की भक्ति देखकर शिवजी बहुत प्रसन्न हुए और उन्हें अपना भूषण (अर्धांगिनी) बना लिया। शिवजी इस नाम के प्रभाव को भलीभाँति जानते हैं—यही कारण है कि समुद्र मंथन के समय जो कालकूट विष उन्हें मिला, वह अमृत फल के समान बन गया।

English Translation:
Witnessing Parvati’s deep love for the name of Ram, Lord Shiv was overjoyed and made Her His eternal consort—His adornment. Lord Shiv, knowing the true power of the Name, consumed the deadly poison of the ocean and it became nectar through its influence, earning Him the title Neelkanth.
