May Lord Ganesh, the leader of Lord Shiv’s attendants, whose remembrance brings success, and who possesses the beautiful elephant face, be a treasure of wisdom and virtues, shower His grace upon me.
भावार्थ:
जिनकी कृपा से गूँगा सुंदर बोलने वाला हो जाता है और लँगड़ा दुर्गम पहाड़ पर चढ़ जाता है, वे कलियुग के सब पापों को जला डालने वाले दयालु (भगवान) मुझ पर दया करें।
English Translation:
May that compassionate Lord, whose grace empowers the mute to speak eloquently and the crippled to scale the highest mountains, and who destroys all sins of Kaliyug, shower His mercy upon me.
भावार्थ:
जो नीलकमल के समान श्यामवर्ण हैं, पूर्ण खिले हुए लाल कमल के समान जिनके नेत्र हैं और जो सदा क्षीरसागर पर शयन करते हैं, वे भगवान् (नारायण) मेरे हृदय में निवास करें।
English Translation:
May Lord Narayan, dark as the blue lotus, with eyes like a fully bloomed red lotus, and ever resting in the ocean of milk, dwell in my heart.
भावार्थ:
जिनका कुंद के पुष्प और चन्द्रमा के समान (गौर) शरीर है, जो पार्वतीजी के प्रियतम और दया के धाम हैं, वे कामदेव का मर्दन करने वाले (शंकरजी) मुझ पर कृपा करें।
English Translation:
May Lord Shankar, white as the jasmine flower and the Moon, the beloved of Parvati ji, an embodiment of compassion, and the vanquisher of Kaamdev, shower His grace upon me.

मैं उन गुरु महाराज के चरणकमल की वंदना करता हूँ, जो कृपा के समुद्र और नर रूप में श्री हरि हैं, और जिनके वचन महामोह रूपी अंधकार का नाश करने के लिए सूर्य किरणों के समूह हैं।

I bow to the lotus feet of my revered Guru, an ocean of mercy and the embodiment of Shri Hari in human form, whose words, like the rays of the Sun, dispel the darkness of ignorance and attachment.

मैं गुरु महाराज के चरण कमलों की रज की वन्दना करता हूँ, जो सुरुचि (सुंदर स्वाद), सुगंध तथा अनुराग रूपी रस से पूर्ण है। यह अमर मूल (संजीवनी जड़ी) का सुंदर चूर्ण है, जो सम्पूर्ण भव रोगों के परिवार को नाश करने वाला है।
English Translation:
I worship the dust of the revered Guru’s lotus feet, a nectar of divine love, rich in taste and fragrance. It is like the sacred powder of the Sanjeevani herb, capable of eradicating all worldly ailments.
भावार्थ:
वह रज सुकृति (पुण्यवान् पुरुष) रूपी शिवजी के शरीर पर सुशोभित निर्मल विभूति है और सुंदर कल्याण और आनन्द की जननी है। यह भक्त के मन रूपी सुंदर दर्पण के मैल को दूर करता है, और तिलक लगाने से गुणों का समूह आकर्षित होता है।
English Translation:
The dust of the Guru’s feet is as soft and pure as the sacred vibhuti (ashes) adorning Lord Shiv’s body, bringing joy and auspiciousness. It cleanses the devotee’s heart and, when applied as a tilak, attracts virtues.

श्री गुरु महाराज के चरण-नखों की ज्योति मणियों की तरह है, जिसके स्मरण से हृदय में दिव्य दृष्टि आती है। यह प्रकाश अज्ञान का नाश करता है, और जिसे यह प्राप्त होता है, उसका भाग्य महान होता है।
English Translation:
The radiance from the toenails of the revered Guru shines like precious gems, and remembering it fills the heart with divine vision. This light dispels ignorance, and its fortunate recipients are truly blessed.

जब यह प्रकाश हृदय में आता है, तो हृदय के शुद्ध नेत्र खुल जाते हैं और संसार के दुःख मिट जाते हैं। श्री रामचरित्र के गुप्त और प्रकट खजाने सब दिखाई देते हैं।

When this light enters the heart, it opens the pure eyes, and worldly sorrows vanish. The hidden and revealed treasures of Shri Ram’s story become visible.
भावार्थ:
जैसे साधक, सिद्ध और ज्ञानी अपने नेत्रों में सूक्ष्म अंजन लगाकर पहाड़ों, वनों और पृथ्वी के भीतर अद्भुत खजाने देखते हैं।
English Translation:
Just as seekers and saints apply special kohl to their eyes to see hidden treasures within mountains, forests, and the earth.
भावार्थ:
गुरु के चरणों की रज कोमल और अमृत समान है जो नेत्रों की सभी खामियां दूर करता है। मैं इस शुद्ध प्रकाश से अपने विवेक नेत्रों को निर्मल करके, श्री रामचरित्र का वर्णन करता हूँ।
English Translation:
The dust of the Guru’s feet is as soft as nectar that cures the eyes’ defects. With this purified vision of wisdom, I describe the story of Shri Ram, the remover of worldly sorrows.

मैं पहले ब्राह्मणों के चरणों को प्रणाम करता हूँ, जो अज्ञान से उत्पन्न संदेहों को दूर करते हैं, और फिर गुणी संत समाज का प्रेम सहित प्रणाम करता हूँ।

First, I bow to the Brahmins, who dispel doubts from ignorance, and then respectfully to the virtuous saintly society.

संतों का चरित्र कपास के समान शुभ और गुणों से भरा है। वे अपनी पीड़ा सहकर दूसरों के दोषों को छुपाते हैं, जिसके कारण उन्हें जग में सम्मान मिलता है।
English Translation:
Saints have pure and virtuous character like cotton. They bear their pain and cover others’ faults, earning respect in the world.
भावार्थ:
संतों का समाज आनंदमय है, और वे चलते-फिरते तीर्थराज जैसे हैं। वहाँ रामभक्ति का प्रवाह है और ब्रह्मविचार का प्रचार होता है।
English Translation:
The saintly society is joyful and like a living sacred place where the devotion to Ram flows like a river and righteous thoughts spread.
भावार्थ:
यहाँ कर्मों का नियम निषेध और कलिमल (पाप) को दूर करने वाली कथा सुनाई देती है, जो सुनने में आनंद और मंगल लेकर आती है।
English Translation:
Here the stories of deeds, their rules and prohibitions, and the removal of sins of Kaliyug are narrated, which bring joy and auspiciousness to all who listen.
भावार्थ:
यह तीर्थराज अद्भुत, अलौकिक और तत्काल फल प्रदान करने वाला है, जिसका प्रभाव स्पष्ट है।
English Translation:
This sacred place is indescribable, supernatural, and offers immediate benefits, with effects clearly manifest.
